    Based on the direction you’re travelling from the nearest motorway exits are M1 Northbound – Junction 23a, M1 Southbound – Junction 28, M6 Northbound – Junction 15, and M6 Southbound – Junction 16.
  • Train:
    The nearest train station to Alton Towers is Uttoxeter located just 10 miles from the resort. You can take a taxi or bus to the theme park from the station.
    Stoke on Trent station is approximately 15 miles away from Alton Towers and you can board a local taxi and reach the theme park in just 25 minutes.
  • Bus: 
    First Bus Potteries, a local bus company, operates routes from Stoke-on-Trent city centre (Hanley), Stoke-on-Trent Rail Station, and Uttoxeter to Alton Tower. You can also board the X52 service that connects to the theme park from Nottingham and Derby.
